Both the Google Play and the Apple App store show reviews and ratings. It could also be a convenient forum to post tips on installation or use, or warnings for bugs, or links to better apps with similar functionality. As the number of apps increases, the number of feature overlaps and forks increases.

Hi, I'm agree with you. In apps, there is only "download number" but in many cases, a module will be used without download. So rating is very interesting. About bugs, I'm not convinced because there is launchpad for that, don't you think ?
