Validation is not like a certification where the product gets it and then it has it for every user. You have to validate it in your installation of it. Mostly you make a list of every function that might affect product quality, say what the expected behavior is and then check off that it did that when tested. There are companies that specialize in creating all the paperwork you need for this. They will do it for any ERP. It will cost less and go faster if they have done that system before. The only thing that I found that the system needed to do is keep track of who changed a record. I would expect that PostgreSQL can do this for you if it is set up to.
