Our business rents out products from two warehouses, A and B. Both warehouses are configured with the same routes and rules as the behaviour is the same, just sometimes we dispatch from one warehouse and sometimes the other. When a rental order is being made in the rental app there is the option to choose warehouse A or B. If we choose A (which was the original warehouse created) then everything works as expected and both the dispatch and return stock moves are scheduled in the inventory app. However if we choose B it only schedules the dispatch stock moves, not the return moves. Why are the return stock moves not being created when using warehouse B?

Thanks for your input Andrea, I checked and all routes and locations are set with correct push rules. I did some more testing and I think I have figured out what is happening and fixed it.
For the original warehouse A I used the default "receipt in 1 step" route and modified it to our needs. However when I configured the second warehouse B I archived this default receipt route and created my own route. Both routes are configured identically, but I think the rental app platform is only set to trigger the default routes, not any newly made route. So for warehouse B I just deleted my custom route, unarchived the default route and edited it to be the same as the custom route and now everything works and the return operations are triggered successfully. So despite the two routes looking identical, it made a difference whether I made the route or Odoo produced the route as a default. I couldn't find any documentation on this behaviour so hope this might be helpful.
Hi Oscar,
By default, the workflow should be the same for both warehouses. Does the receipt route in Warehouse 2 have the rule that pushes from Partners/Customers/Rental to Stock or Input? The rule could be using a different location from Partners/Customers/Rental, which could be a reason why the return is not created.
