I am using Odoo 18.0 Enterprise Edition, and I am troubled by what the UI shows during the upselling process.
Upselling a subscription should mean getting a partial refund to the first payment of the new subscription, a one-time discount. However, the upsell discount is applied directly to the product line. Also, at the bottom, I can see that the "Recurring Price" has been discounted, and the "Non-Recurring Price" is at zero. All of this makes it seem like the upsell discount is permanent.
In my mind, the "Recurring Price" should be unchanged, and the "Non-Recurring Price" should be a negative value, the prorata refund. Is there a way I can make my Upsell button work like that ? If not, can I at least have confirmation that this is not a functionality issue but a UI clarity issue, and the discount will go away after the next payment ?
