Hello,

Is there any way to make a simple warehouse transfer from companyA->warehouseA to companyB->warehouseB, CompanyB is a child company of companyA. I am not talking about resupply, i'm talking about a manual transfer originated in companyA. 

If this can be possible, could someone give me a hand on how to do it?

I'll really appreciate your help.

A transfer between two companies is a purchase into one company and a sale from the other company. It does not matter wether they are mother / child. Both comapnies also got independent accounting.  So the intercompany sale / purchase process is mandatory. 

Then you deliver out of comany that ship and make goods receipt into company that receive.

In the case of my client, it is a different business model: He is the owner of some exclusive clothing boutique stores, which operate in some hotels in Caribbean islands. The task of buying and selecting merchandise is done in the United States, where he resides and has a warehouse (main company) to distribute to the stores and the stores are the ones that sell the merchandise. For him the concept of minimum inventory and resupply does not make sense since the merchandise that is sold is unique, for example, the dress that he decided to buy and send to one of the stores, will never be ordered again, He decides what he will sell in his stores, not the other way around. Therefore, what he needs is to make warehouse transfers. You could tell me, then create a single company with several warehouses! the problem is that in the child stores is where the sale occurs and each one is in different countries with different currencies, taxes and business rules, the main company only buy from suppliers -> store in main warehouse at US -> send to merchandise to the stores according to his criteria -> stores receive merchandise and sells it, whatever they received, no question made.

Do you have any idea on how could this be implemented?

As long as the shop is its own legal entity with its own accounting, you use the process for intercompany sales / purchase. The receiving company must buy it. The process can be started from both side. The seller create the sales order, then the purchase order is created automatic in the receiving company. (One of the options.) This should work perfect in your scenario.

One remark:The process for intercompany transfer in Odoo, is equal to the process in SAP. It is the only way to do it.

You can try with transit locations. 

companyA->warehouseA  --> Transit A --> Transit B --> companyB->warehouseB.
