After having tried multiple online swiss solutions (like Bexio, Swiss 21, etc) that are all terrible, I was thinking about Odoo that would be also lot more inline with my own convictions (using only open-source as much as possible).
Are there some companies in Switzerland that uses Odoo ? and did they need a lot of customisation to handle for example e-bill, QRCode on invoices, retrieving list of operations from bank (PostFinance) and upload payment orders to ebanking ?

the swiss localization of Odoo is very advanced, one example is that Odoo is also being certified by swissdec for payroll.

I hope it helps and recommend Odoo enterprise which is very affordable, host included, with all the above possibilities out of the box and a great choice of open source modules!

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer and I would have additional questions if you don't mind ;)
-> If I understand well, it's no problem to generate invoices with swiss QR code for swiss customers and similar for european customers (was not aware similar systems existed in europe ;) Only think not supported is eBill but no big deal with that !
-> PostFinance uses as far as I know CAMT.053 but is Odoo able to retrieve these files automatically everyday ? or does it imply a manual process ?
-> For SEPA payments, it's not automated at all ? I have to manually import xml file generated by Odoo in my ebanking ? Odoo is not able to send SEPA payments automatically at the bank ?
-> Also if I understand well there is not much interest to host it by myself (out of confidentiality points) as price is same for self-hosted or online version offered by Odoo right ?
I'm very interested to switch to Odoo but I want to be sure it's not going to be a bigger nightmare than my existing Swiss21 system (out of the nightmare already to switch of accounting system :-D

For automatic import of bank transactions it looks to be possible through saltedge but so far my attempts have failed (Saltedge timeouts when it retrieves existing transactions, will try it again later or tomorrow).
