Stockable packaging, consumable content

Question

Hi  everyone,
I am using Odoo14 and we want to manage our screws during our manufacturing process.
Our screws are usually stored in a package of 250 pieces or more. We do not want to keep inventory for every single screw, but rather for the packages.
How do I define the system in such a way, that I can set min. stock for the packages and replenishment rules but still use the screws on my BoM and have botboth of these be the same product or at least linked to each other? Doing a BoM with a Kit Fu

Hi Stephan
You could define a UOM for a box and manage. To define a new UOM: Settings -> Inventory -> Units of Measure.
Enable and create a new UOM (e.g 250 Box) with category units.
You would be able to define replenishment rules for a box. You might need to change the UOM on product template based on how you would like to track.
