Hi All, 

We have an issue with getting variants for a specific set of Attributes and their respective selected values. As this is a carpet and rugs store variants are many.

The issue is we have a product build out with so many variants that the attributes cannot all generate. We would end up with N variations and Odoo 14 does not allow this to happen. 

The work around was to generate variants dynamically, but this does not work when dealing with weights to specific variants combinations. 

Our product build out is as follows:

Product

• Size - 12x24, 30x60, 90x180, size, size 2, size 3, size 4, size 5

• Material - material a, material b, material c, material d..

• Color - color a, color b, color c, color d, color e

• Quantity - 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m..

• Lead Time - 1d, 7d, 14d..

As you can see in the example we can have up to 15 values in a single Attribute and that causes problems when trying to get all variants.

Our question:

Is there a way that we can generate only the necessary variant combinations, in our case SIZE, MATERIAL, COLOR? If we could generate all variant combinations per product based on the values then we could effectively apply the appropriate weights to each item for shipping & delivery processing.

I have read up on the Attributes, Variants and values however we still have not been able to find a solution that fits our needs. 

Again the idea is to make by default each Attribute necessary (Size, Material, Color) automatically to allow us to put in appropriate weights.
