When our Vendors are directed to ship to our freight forwarder's warehouse for subsequent shipping to our warehouse as the final destination, how should we move or show the PO processing to acknowledge 'received at the freight forwarder', yet not yet received in our final destination warehouse?
My concerns are;
1. To be able to track Vendor's 'Delivery Lead Time' in Odoo to the Freight Forwarder, not the final destination.  Lead times to the freight forwarder are typically 5 days.  Lead time from the Freight Forwarder are typically 12 days.  We should not include or penalize the Freight Forwarder's lead time with the Vendor's lead time.
2. Hopeful to to display PO's in Kanban grouping as 'RFQ', 'PO', 'At Freight Forwarder', Received, etc.  Wish to be able to show PO remaining at the Freight Forwarder.

Thank you!

You could consider identifying Forwarder as an inventory location (transit type or Internal depending on which point you recognize your inventory) rather than having it as a PO status (RFQ, sent, PO, locked etc). Also, these represent the status of PO, which could consist of multiple products being shipping or received at different times.

In addition modifying your receipt process to be of 2 steps, will provide the ability to track 2 operations (vendor to forwarder and forwarder to stock) and will be able to track individual lead times.
