Using the website_builder extension, I have created multiple websites per sub company. 

I want to use custom domains for each website. 

Example:

my main Odoo installation is on domain a.com

i have created a website as root that should show up when visiting a.com

i have created to separate websites B and C

when visiting b.com I want to end ub at website b and not at the same page like website a

same goes for website C

i have already bought the domains and I have pointed them to the same IP address as a.com

(obviously a, b and c are placeholders) thank you for helping

I have set the domains properly under Settings > Website 

Where should I set up the reverse proxy? Currently all domains point to the same IPAddress  of the Odoo server is there something wrong? Or do I have to add a specific reverse proxy in Odoo itself?

I set everything up including the reverse proxy but the multi domain still doesn't work.

im gonna be more specific, maybe that can help


my main domain is called "example.com" and using the admin user I have created two websites using the website builder extension. I have another domain that is called "domain.com".  Now,  I  want  this  very  simple  setup  where,  if  you  visit  domain.com  you  should  see  the  second  website  and  if  you to example.com you should see the first.

after setting everything up like you instructed, if I visit domain.com I stilll see the first website like on example.com


how can I fix this?

Have you set up your reverse proxy properly?

The inbuilt webserver is listening on a specific port only ( as specified in the odoo.conf file, by default it is 8069). If you want to access Odoo with a domain only (and SSL), you need a reverse proxy. A reverse proxy can be installed on a separate server (recommended) or on the same server as described in the Odoo deployment documentation.
