How do I link my sales to my inventory. When I create an invoice I want the inventory to automatically be adjusted

Hi,

Linking sales to inventory and automatically adjusting inventory upon invoice creation in Odoo is straightforward.

Workflow:
Create a Sale Order: Start by creating a sale order for your customer, specifying the desired products and quantities.
Confirm Sale Order: When you confirm the sale order, Odoo automatically creates a draft stock move(connected Inventory). This move represents the transfer of products from your inventory to the customer.
Validate Inventory Availability: Before validating the stock move, Odoo checks if sufficient inventory is available for the ordered products. If not, you will be notified and need to adjust the order or update inventory levels.
Deliver Products: Once validated, the stock move is executed, and inventory levels are automatically updated to reflect the sale. You can then process the invoice and deliver the products to the customer.

You have to select the invoicing policy as delivered qty in product master.If you choose "Delivered Quantity," the system will generate an invoice based on the quantity delivered. This way you can control the inventory but you have to dispatch the material first then create the invoice.
