Sorry if this topic was already posted somewhere. I just can't find it :(
I would like to rename work TIN to VAT or the invoice report. How can I do that?

Not sure if you this answers your question. I was looking at changing the TIN on the customer invoice to ABN for Australia's VAT and got the following correct answer from Odoo's consultant;
- In order to change VAT label , it will required to install an additional app called 'Contact'.- One related to app is installed, navigate to Contact > Configuration > Countries. Search for country 'Australia' and you will find field name VAT label.-Setting value in it will appear on the invoice.
I am using Odoo v11. Hope this helps for future inquiries on this matter.
Hi Ken, I'm using Odoo v11 too but I don't see the VAT label option in any country, is there needed an additional module to enable this change? Thanks in advance, James.

You can inherit invoice report and change vat for tin.
