    Go to Accounting > Vendors > Bills

    Click Create

    Select the Vendor (e.g. your landlord)

    Set the Bill Date and Due Date

    Add a line with:

        Account: Rent Expense (or similar)

        Label: e.g. "Office Rent – May 2025"

        Amount: Monthly rent

    Validate the bill

    Register payment once the rent is paid

This method ensures the rent is recorded as an expense, appears in vendor reports, and properly affects your accounts payable.
