POS in different currency than company currency (USD company / POS in IQD)

Hello Odoo Community,

I am using Odoo v18.

My company currency is USD.
I want my POS to sell in IQD (Iraqi Dinar).
I created journals, payment methods, and pricelists in IQD.
But when I try to configure the POS, I always get a Validation Error:
“All payment methods must be in the same currency as the Sales Journal or the company currency if that is not set.”

I do not want to change my company currency to IQD, because my accounting must remain in USD.

Hi,

In Odoo, Point of Sale enforces that all payment methods use the same currency as the Sales Journal, or the company currency if no journal currency is set.

Try the following module for a multi-currency system.
