Openerp 7.0 response is too much slow

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the Odoo fourm. I have deployed Openerp 7.0 on my dedicated server having

*512 MB Memory*
*1 Core Processor*
*20GB SSD Disk*
*1 TB Transfer*
*Ubuntu 14.2*

But response time of any click on the system is too much slow. Even click to open a simple form takes too much time. I didn't have any userbase at the moment instead admin user. I have tested this response time on all major browsers ( *Chrome, Firefox *) but result remains the same.

The problem you're facing is simply because of how light your virtual machine is.
For Odoo to run well and smooth you should go for atleast 1GB of RAM and 2 processor cores.
The SSD, 1TB of transfer and Ubuntu version are just fine.

In common I'd recommend you to never take less than 1024MB of RAM. You have the chance that your VM will run out of memory and that your Odoo will crash. A second downside is that your Odoo will be (very) slow, as you are noticing right now.
