is there a way to automatically create separate manufacture orders if I have multiple quantities for the same product in a sale order??
Thank you very much!
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:

Hello Roy,
new feature of V16: you can split your MO.
Ex:
1 MO for 30 pc, it's possible to split in 30 MO of 1 pc.
I think that it's not very hard to make an automated action to do that automatically.

I am not into V16 yet, but best guess is that it works like in V14 on this matter:
If you use Make To Order process, and you have separate sales order lines for each qty, the result should be one manufacturing for each sales order line.
If you are using Reorder rules, set the trigger to manual and use the transaction Replenishment in the inventory app. Here you can manually change th qty for which you want to create the manufacturing order.
Hi Lars, thanks for your answer! :)
We do work with Make to order, but if we have 50 products in one line, it will take a lot of work to write 50 different order lines. Do you know any way to easily split sale order lines?
Thanks again.
You can easily confirm production of 1 and 1. If you have order for 50, you confirm finish 1. If you use work order, Odoo will automatic create a new order for 49 and automatic opens in the same screen. And continue until all 50 are finish. It is a nice flow, and more efficient than starting with 50 different orders. Might be an option for you.
I am implementing this at a client just now, and have a video of how it looks like. Here we produce cable lenghts of 1000 M, and each lenght got a unique lot number.

At the end of the video we have to manually close all the manufacturing orders that are created. We have automated that function with a server action. You find info here: https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/automatic-action-to-set-manufacturing-order-in-status-done-216431
If you don't use work orders, you will be asked if you want to create a backorder after confirm less than planned qty.
