I've posted previously trying to get an answer to this, but not getting anywhere. This is currently stopping an implementation in its tracks.
Any business selling across multiple countries is likely to find itself having to collect and remit VAT across multiple countries.
It's possible to install a localisation and have fiscal positions and taxes created in Odoo. The trouble is that you can only have the taxes and fiscal positions for one localisation at a time; the localisation applicable to "Fiscal Country" for the company. This doesn't work when you need to collect and remit taxes for multiple countries where you have customers.
I know that it's possible to define a new fiscal position, setting the country, get prompted to install the localisation, enter a VAT number and then get prompted to insert the taxes, but this doesn't insert the fiscal positions.
This is such a common requirement; pretty much any e-commerce business will need to deal with this. How can the taxes, fiscal positions, etc from a localisation be inserted into the account tables from the template tables?
