I went through the documentation for a proper set-up 5 times now. Everything looks fine and correct. In my PayPal account, I have set up an Auto return, PDT and IPN. I then copy-pasted my Paypal Email ID, Merchant ID and PDT Token into my Odoo. Also enabled "Use IPN" and then turned on production mode and published payment.

PayPal shows in my payment options during the checkout. I can select it and after confirming the order my troubles start.

I keep getting redirected to ​https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/

Like I would be in a sandbox mode, although I have enabled the production mode. If I do it other way around and turn on test mode, then I get redirected during the payment to the, what I assume is the correct PayPal URL: https://www.paypal.com/

BUT, I get an error https://www.paypal.com/webapps/shoppingcart/error?flowlogging_id .... and in the browser, it displays a message: Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.

It seems like Odoo has an unusual way to integrate PayPal. I was looking into my own account if there is perhaps a problem there - like my own PayPal account should be turned into active and not sandboxed or something. This is the case when you do it regularly, like PayPal expects you to do it. Through their API in Business setup or in PayPal developer dashboard, where you can activate or sandbox your "apps" a.k.a API accesses.

But this is not the way it seems Odoo integrates with PayPal and as far I can see there is no way to activate/sandbox your account in paypal. So I really can't see why I keep on getting redirected to sandbox.paypal.com URL.

Any idea or help would be greatly appreciated.
