Dear Team,


in our Manufacturing Module we are not able to activate the shopfloor option. We use Odoo 17.0+e-20250615 (Enterprise-Edition).


Unter Settings > Manufacturing we've only:

  • Work Orders (activated)
  • as well as Work order dependencies
  • But no option for Shopfloor

Is there an trick or workaround, that we missed?

We already tried to:

  • Update to the newest Odoo Version
  • Update Modules in the Apps List
  • Take a look into the options
  • Check the options as superuser

The Shop Floor options is added by https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/blob/17.0/mrp_workorder/views/res_config_settings_view.xml.
Unless you have customization in place that may prevents this options from being displayed, try updating the module 'mrp_workorder' from Apps.

We don't have the position Shop Floor in our manufacturing settings. If i switch to developer mode or superuser we also don't have that option.

Can we easily uninstall and reinstall the manufacturing fro mapp-Overview or do we lose all our POs inside the tool if we do this?

We installed odoo onpermise - we've installed the last odoo version from downloadportal. Maybe we have to change something in our linux system?

Hi,

To access the Shop Floor app, ensure that the 'Shop Floor' option is enabled in the Settings menu within the Manufacturing module. Additionally, if the Overview Menu isn't visible, ensure that Work Orders are enabled in your settings.



The "Shop Floor" smart button will only appear on the Manufacturing Order after it has been confirmed. If problems persist, try reinstalling the Manufacturing app or contact Odoo support.
