Hey everyone,

I’m currently facing some challenges with maintaining a professional look for our blog on our multilingual website. Right now, we have the site available in two languages. In our website builder, I can easily hide elements that aren’t relevant to one language or region on most of the site—except for the blog. This means I’m forced to either:

  1. Translate blogs that aren’t relevant to the other language, which wastes time and often doesn’t make sense for the other audience.
  2. Leave the blog as-is, with posts in both languages, which just looks unprofessional and cluttered.

With only two languages, it’s already a bit frustrating, but we’re looking to expand into more languages, and the current setup just isn’t scalable. The added hassle is holding us back from adding more language options, which is something we’d really like to do.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Is there a workaround for this?

You can create one blog for each language, and have the content completely separated.

The default blog page shows all the blogs on the first page and a list of all the blogs to filter the content.

You can create your own blog view, and show the content based on language preferences, but this is not the default odoo website behavior, you'll need to change the blog page content and make sure you don't break any dynamic features.
