Hi,

I would like to switch website from the url not the domain.

Each having its own theme of course.

- domain.com : website_1 home

- domain.com/about : website_1 about us page

- domain.com/wrongurl : website_1 "404" themed page

- domain.com/wb2 : website_2 home

- domain.com/wb2/about : website_2 about us page

- domain.com/wb2/alsowrongurl : website_2 "404" themed page

- domain.com/wb3 : website_2 home

- domain.com/wb3/about : website_3 about us page

- domain.com/wb3/alsowrongurl : website_3 "404" themed page

is that possible ?

this is such a great question...not sure why no one can answer. we have URL redirect issues also. We are on V12 hosted on Odoo.sh and the redirect will not connect to second site. Have cases open with Odoo support to no avail...and Odoo consultants and no one can figure it out....we would even pay someone to resolve....Any ANSWERS?

Maybe someone did find the solution?

Hi guys,

I'm having the same issue at the moment.

At the moment works with ?fw=website_id after the domain

I have read here https://www.jvo.sh/notes/multi_website/#orgbde8c1d  some technical info.

But it's not easy understand how to interact with that part of code.

I think that the best solution is to create a new module that add a field to website object char in order to call the website www.domain.com/valueofthefield, I don't know if exists something similar on the store or on OCA

Thanks, but the ?fw=website_id parameter only works when a user is logged in. Which I don't see how that's useful because if you're logged in you can just select the desired website from the dropdown. How do we get a URL for each website for *non*-logged-in users? What's the point of allowing you to build multiple websites if a (not-logged-in) user can't even access all of them?
