Since november 2011 there is a web based clickable install version available in Synology package centre for x86 based servers of them. It started with v6.0 and later v6.1 . I have v6.1.1 running on a dual core x86 DS412+. From january 2013 OpenERP v6.1.1 is also available on other Synology architectures and units. 13-series : RS10613xs+, RS3413xs+, DS2413+, DS713+, DS413, DS413j, DS213+, DS213, DS213air 12-series : DS3612xs, RS3412xs, RS3412RPxs, RS2212+, RS2212RP+, DS1812+, DS1512+, RS812, DS712+, DS412+, RS212, DS212+, DS212, DS212j, DS112+, DS112, DS112j 11-series : DS3611xs, RS3411xs, RS3411RPxs, DS2411+, RS2211+, RS2211RP+, DS1511+, RS411, DS411+II, DS411+, DS411, DS411j, DS411slim, DS211+, DS211, DS211j, DS111 10-series : DS1010+, RS810+, RS810RP+, DS410, DS410j, DS710+, DS210+, DS210j, DS110+, DS110j 9-series : DS509+, RS409+, RS409RP+, RS409, DS409+, DS409, DS209+II, DS209+, DS209, DS109+, DS109, DS409slim
I installed v6.1.1 succesfull on a DS412+, an older DS211+ and even on their smallest boxes the DS112J.
Until June 2013 v7 is not available. And there where no announcements.
Major Update 12 July 2013. OpenERP 7.0 is available for DS112J and DS412+ and I assume also for all the other above mentioned DS types. You need to install Python 2.7.3. This is standard available on the synology. Username/Password is admin/admin
I hope to find answers on:
- Are needed Python routines and other scripts already installed?
- Availability and reliability of Dutch localisation modules.
- Is there an update mechanisme on the synology to follow the bugfixes and developments and how can this be managed?
If I have the answers I will let you know. If you already have the answers, please let me / us know.
Additional, openERP is running on DS408, with Synology os 4.0 (last version official supported)
After 4 months without answers from others: 1. Only most elementary are installed. No beautifull soup, no pdftools, no antiword, no ... I don't know yet. 2. Only ln is available at this moment. The missing other localisation modules especially banking modules makes it useless for Dutch users. 3. I didn't find it how to do this. So once a bug always a bug. 4. I asked today Synology support for answers. My experience with them for other things is good. I will report on this later. (Note.: This is for both 6.1.1 aswell 7.0).

Thank you Jean_Michel! It is better not to ask a question in an answer. I advise you make areal question of it and make a remark in the text you are using OE on synology. Maybe others can help you. And I can also give suggestions in answer, not on this place. Further for this forum it is important to upvote questions and answers to give them more attention to others.
Interesting. I didn't realize this "forum" was formatted in such a way. I like the Q&A voting idea though (which I guess explains why OE retired they former Forum). One thing I would recommend is a quick set of slides highlighting how this (new to me at least) format works. Otherwise the admin will be spending a lot of time flagging comments like mine. Thanks for the heads up though. I got to run now but will move my comment to a new questions when I get back. (as a side note, this press-enter = post comment (a la Facebook) drives me crazy but I'll just have to grow used to Shift-Enter ;-p
Yes it is available for DS713+, and my problem is we can print in Chinese and it will turn to be a way of Command Line. I am still learning it. Hope to see many other feedback from here.
What is available for DS713+ ? If you mean OpenERP, this is no news. I started my post with this.
