My company previously hired odoo partners to built and deploy an eCommerce website using odoo and odoo.sh . I was wondering if it is possible to edit the backend and the source code of the website without help from an odoo partner through odoo.sh? From my understanding I can't get access to the github repository holding the underlying code because it contains code from odoo enterprises which only odoo partners are allowed to view? Or is this mistaken? Generally I am just wondering how I could get access to changing the backend component of the application without needing help from an odoo partner. Is this possible? I have access to the odoo.sh but not the github repo that it is connected to.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Contabilidad
- Inventario
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

Odoo.sh containers store a copy of the code from the repository behind it.
Even though you can't get access to the repository, our Support team can probably resolve the dispute you are having with your Partner and get you the code, so please contact them via https:/www.odoo.com/help
The GitHub repo is public since the software, at least the core, is open source.
You can fork the code and modify it, but the main app not your own db. From the edit tool inside the website app in odoo you can see the front end code of your webpage but only xml(html) and css.
Now, why do you want to change the backend? What do you need to implement?
Maybe if you answer this questions I can help you more.
