Any advice on how to get out of this initial rut?
For the same need, I used product_extended module in openerp v6.0
You will find here a short description of the module.
I'm using the online version of OpenERP 7. I see these modules are for 6 and less. Surely the latest version of a comprehensive ERP system can add up the prices of a BOM t give you a product or sub-component total? If not I'll have to leave this product because that is a basic critical task for me and I'm sure any manufacturer.
I'm agree so do you find where to get the total cost for BOM already? Because I also looking for it.
