This can be done in Odoo following these steps:
1. Enable and configure your Payment Provider and allow saving payment method:
2. Grant your customer Portal Access so they can have an account that has all of their orders and saved cards:
3. Once you create a Subscription and create an Invoice the customer will be able to see this on their Portal View:
4. The customer can then choose to pay the invoice using their card, save it, and use it to pay future invoices:
