Some parts have an extra core charge added to them when the customer buys a replacement part. If or when the customer returns the obsolete part they will be refunded the core charge and I need to track the core part as inventory. How have you handled product core charges in your system?

I see this is a really old question but it still does not have an answer.
Odoo out of box doesn't support having "cores" on products and the associated tracking of core values, core eligibility or banking, for customer and vendor sides. I'm guessing the original question was for an automotive parts environment.
