How to edit the product form to add the description field?

You have to activate the Developer Mode (see here)
Then go to the form and choose Edit FormView in the drop-down box.
I seem to be having an issue with the discription of a product. There seems to be a difference in what you write on the product form and what is displayed in the report (offer of invoice). Do you know the logic behind this ?
Reports and views are two totally different things in OpenERP. If you want to change a report you have to change the related RML.
