How i can create alias for one SKU? For kit i found a way from bill of metirials but i haven't find the wat for the alias. Please help me out.

Create a bill of material of one line and the the finished product in the bom: set \ kit. Why do you want aliases? If it s just for multiple names and references, you can use supplier name and references.
I am following this way. Created four items c1,p1,p2,p3. Go to bill of material, and selects c1 as finished products, p1,p2,p3 are kit components. Goto Manufacturing orders and create an order using the above bill of material with quantity -> quantity on hand of kit component and produce it. Here i got problems which are lacking kits functionality. 1. The quantity on hand of kit independent to quantity of kit component. i.e with the quantity of 1 kit component, i can create quantity of 100 kits in openerp. 2. When i make any transactions(sale/purchase) on kit component, kit quantity on hand not changed automatically. Is there any other way to create kits in openerp version 7.0?
Create bill of material for alias product with actual product as component.

Dear Fabien Pinckaers I need to sell my product in multichannel's for that reason i need alias for a product with different names, you have suggested me using bom we need to create a kit item as alias, But i need to create a purchased item as alias?
