Products have categories which creates a 2-level hierarchy. How can I create an n-level hierarchy?

Each category can have a parent category. You can have as many levels of categories as you want. You can put a product in any level of these categories you want.
To create a product hierarchy in Odoo:
Go to Inventory → Configuration → Product Categories. Create top-level categories.
Add subcategories by selecting a parent category. Example: Electronics → Laptops.
Assign products to the appropriate category in Inventory → Products → Products.
Optional: Enable Variants for products with multiple options (size, color).
Once done, you can filter, group, or report by category in inventory or sales.
Tip: Plan your hierarchy before adding products to avoid duplicates and simplify reporting.
