What settings are needed in the delivery and/or payment method to configure a checkout from online shop with a pick up and pay in store.

Hi Ricardo,
While you question only pertains to ordering process, you may also want to consider the fulfilment process if Inventory App and operations is in play
1. I believe orders with COD are in "Quotation sent" status, hence no delivery orders would be generated. i.e there maybe no lead time for store operations to prepare order
2. On confirmation/ payment of quotation either manually or online (if customer chooses a different payment method) DO is created but has the delivery address of the contact (not the store) and also source location would be default delivery location and not the store location. i.e could not only be confusing for WH operators but if not addressed before validating delivery could have impact on replenishment rules, inventory adjust etc

So how to manage it?
One possibility could be to use automated action to change delivery address to store location on delivery order.
If you need the warehouse to be set then it might have to be done on the sale order
You can create a Delivery Method for pickup.
Then, edit the checkout page to inform your Customer:
Your Customer would then select the pickup option:
You can group and/or filter Sales Orders by Delivery Method once your Customer(s) have checked out from the website.
We have also delivered the "On Site Payments & Picking" configuration option as part of the v15 point releases, with this available to all Users with the release of Odoo v16. It will "Allow customers to pay in person at your stores." The user selects the pickup location from a list you enter and they see on the website.
Apart from Shipping method, you might also want to create a payment method like COD (collect/ cash on delivery) so there is the option to pay at store or on order confirmation

Like Jaideep answer, for me is not clear how delivery method can change location from what warehouse will be created order. In my case when you select "pick from store" delivery method, should be selected selected store warehouse, how to manage it?
