Hi Odooers,

Is there a way to prevent users from creating a timesheet on sales orders or sale order lines that have been fully delivered? It happens to us that an order has been fully delivered and users accidentally select a 'sales order line' from an "old" sales order of the customer in a Task or Helpdesk ticket. How do you deal with this?

In addition: some customers have many orders and then the list of sales order lines in a task or helpdesk ticket becomes very long, while I really only want to show the active sale order lines here, to keep things simple and clean for our users. Has anyone encountered this and has a solution?

Finally, I wonder how you deal with products that qualify as a service (product type) but where you never want to have a timesheet created on. For example, the sale of virtual software licenses. These have been created in our Odoo database as Product with product type 'Service' to prevent stock moves from being created for as the sales order is confirmed. The disadvantage now is that users can (accidentally) create a timesheet on these sales order lines and the delivered quantity will be adjusted accordingly.

We are on Odoo v15 Online (enterprise version)

Thanks in advance for your tips and ideas!

Hey Ralf,
we are struggeling with a similar issue where we can select sales order items on timesheets that mismatch the project. Do you have any updates on your issues that might help us?
Best Regards
Malte

Since you are using the sales module, check out the module "Club SO lines" by intelliversal integrated solutions. This module groups the products written under a section with marked checkbox and shows them as a single product to the customer in their invoice.
