We are relatively new on our Odoo 18 journey, but we are loving it thus far.
Right now, we'd like to replace our term period tracking with a better-suited tool, and we'd love to use Odoo. We're wondering if you know of a tool that might suit our needs.
The challenge is that we have countless contracts and other similar deeds that require us to evaluate regularly whether to cancel or not. Say we have a software licence subscription that's valid for 12 months, and unless we give 4 weeks notice by the end of October 2026, it renews.
What we need is a tool where we can enter these data, and then every year, we get a reminder to check the contract, and confirm that we're ok wih automatic renewal (snooze for a year), or we cancel the contract, and the recurring task disappears.
Do you know of a module that could provide this? I am aware of to-do, and currently waiting on having it installed in our instance, but I am curious if there are better ways…?

The "To Do" app is very basic, so I don't think that will do what you want. You can create Activities (in the chatter) and the "Activity View" is quite useful (but only available in Settings).
I don't think Blanket Orders / Purchase Agreements are going to help too much.
