Since I started working a decade ago, I have been providing industry-based solutions (ERPs) to my clients.

After doing odoo over the past 5 years, I now recommend Odoo to almost every client.

So, I am looking for some answers to a few questions that I have in mind.

  1. Which Odoo partner companies specialize in which industries?
  2. Can you write the industry expertise with odoo partner name so that I can choose the right partner for my client's business?
  3. What are the challenges of using an Odoo partner company that does not specialize in my industry?

There are many functional experts in the forum who know which odoo partner has more experience OR many clients in a specific industry. I want to know every industry with odoo partner company name in answers OR comments.

Additionally, I want to know 'Which partner company I should consider if I have a low budget for the Odoo customization?'

I think the answer to this question will help us all who are working odoo. I appreciate everyone's contribution to our odoo community.

Thank you.

In general I find to many coding experts and to few business process experts practice by Odoo Partners. I had this search myself 6 months ago.
And Odoo have difficult in specific businese processes, even with the very flexible customization that exist.

Thank you for your comment @Lars Aam.
I totally agree with your words. Searching for customization that already exists is a difficult task. But, searching for a relevant experienced person is more difficult. Coz, everyone is saying that he/she can do it.

In response to your first two questions: on the Odoo website’s partner list, you can now filter by industries — try using that. Also, check out partner case studies and try to talk to end customers to get feedback on the partner.

Answering your 3rd question: It’s better, of course, to choose from those who have relevant experience and with whom there’s a good match. However, good partners have staff who can quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar areas — that’s their job. So try speaking with different ones.

And when you do speak with them, here’s a list of questions you can ask. This list was shared with us by an ERP Consultant:

What are your recent projects in our sector?

Can we speak with similarly sized and industry-matched client references?

How do you manage project staffing and continuity?

What’s your change management and training plan?

How do you handle integrations and legacy systems?

What’s your methodology for requirement gathering?

Do you offer post go-live support?

Who owns the code/customizations?

How do you ensure executive and user engagement?

What happens if we’re off track mid-project?

Thanks for your reply @Selvamg.

I know, That's why I am looking for expert teams in the market.

Let me explain using an example.

I have lots of experience in making solutions for 'chain of restaurants' OR you can say F&B industry. (My custom-made POS is currently running at more than 1000 retail outlets smoothly; along with [centralized franchise management + POS + Supply chain automations].)

Imagine a scenario where a hospitality company seeks a cloud-based ERP system for their franchise model. With my extensive background, I understand their operations. On top of that, I can provide valuable insights into automation, a smooth implementation process, best-use practices, and many more. To include, I already have resources to provide consultation, migration, customization, and Integration with less amount of time.

Because of my experience, the chances of success for the project are nearly 100% with me. Plus, I accurately calculate the time, cost, and risks involved, which other developers might not provide exactly. I've even published a blog about the common failures in ERP projects – feel free to check it out. So, even though I might charge a bit more per hour than some other expert developers, in the end, I offer a better deal in terms of cost, result, and speed.

So, Right now, I'm looking for a list of people who are really good at different things.

What I am looking for is a list of expertise in respected industry OR areas.

For instance,

Contact me (write.harmit@gmail.com) for F&B projects.

@Cybrosys is good in odoo training.

@Terabits Technolab is an expert in user access setup & its relative products for odoo.

I hope this helps us all make better systems for different jobs. Thanks for listening.

In practical your question is very valid one.'

For any ERP Project - select of ERP  product in important  and  choosing correct consultant to implement  - both are equal  for the success of the project.

As of now in ODOO site  provide the certified partners and their client  name with their contacts.

Identify best  consultant is  a most chalaging  task of the entire project

At the same , as a customer - it is preferable to have experience Odoo resource  on your own
