We're currently looking for an experienced Odoo Accounting Specialist to help us configure and optimize a hire purchase (installment payment) system within Odoo Community Edition .
The standard modules available on the Odoo App Store don't align with our custom workflow, so we're open to custom development or direct framework customization to achieve the right accounting logic.
Summary:
We need support to design and implement accounting processes that correctly reflect hire purchase transactions — including proper handling of asset recognition, interest allocation, and multi-account postings throughout the payment lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Odoo Developer with strong accounting module expertise.
- Deep understanding of hire purchase or leasing accounting principles .
- Experience with Odoo Community Edition .
- Ability to configure multi-account bookings and handle complex journal entries.
- Strong skills in Python and the Odoo framework for customization work.
