I want to know what the value invoicing_legacy means on the options for this field

I already know what every other value means but have no idea of what invoicing_legacy means or how it is reproduced in an invoice.

This came to be, because of trying to create a Credit Note using API, but before doing so I need to filter the invoice states for the search.

I would apreciate any advice on the matter as to what this option means
