Hi dear Odooers,

I’m facing an issue and wanted to know if it’s happening for everyone. 
I’ve disabled shared customer account for both my websites. When user goes to website 1 and click on don’t have an account and register himself, he has access to website 1 only, which is great and that’s the workflow we need. 

The problem is when the admin logs in website 1 and go to contacts and grant portal access to a customer, the contact can log in to website 1 and website 2.

Please help. I’m not sure if it’s some option that I’m missing.

Hi,

In contact, under the Sales & Purchases page, you can see the website field. If you select a website here and grant portal access to the contact. The contact will only be able to login to this specific website.

Hello. I have precisely a similar problem. I want a partner to be able to access website 2 and not be able to access website 1.


I have done what you suggest in your comment and now the user cannot log in at all. The incorrect login error message always appears.


If I leave that field blank again, the user can access again, but only to website 1.
