Hi,
Your free Odoo instance
likely switched to a paid one because you exceeded the "one app free"
limit, possibly due to dependencies or hidden features. It's also
possible you accidentally upgraded or there was a system error.
To
resolve this, contact Odoo support again, providing details and
referencing your previous successful reversion. Check your installed
apps and dependencies, uninstalling extras. Review your Odoo account for
unintended subscriptions. If needed, downgrade or, as a last resort,
export your data and migrate to the free Odoo Community Edition. Be
mindful of app dependencies and regularly review installed apps to avoid
this in the future.
Hope it helps
Thanks for your reply!
Yes, I already checked the installed apps and dependencies, and nothing extra was added. That’s why it’s strange: one instance was reverted to free by support, but the other wasn’t, even though both are configured the same way.
I also opened a support ticket, but so far no one has provided any clear explanation or solution. I’ll try reaching out again and reference the previous case.
I have the feeling the issue started when I tried to duplicate the instance to test the migration to v18.
They are not configured in the same way:
Apps installed in the Free App database "s**p" - account, calendar, contacts, mail, stock
Apps installed if the database we are asking you to pay for "e********t" - calendar, contacts, mail, stock, stock_barcode
Uninstall the App you don't wish to use and from odoo.com/my/databases use the MANAGE option to switch yourself back to the free plan.
Hello Ray,
I have uninstalled Bar Code (it was installed automatically when I created the instance).
This is what appears when I try to make the change myself:
You cannot change the plan.
There are 3 active applications: Calendar, Inventory, Contacts.
