I am sending out emails with Email Marketing module but it is very very slow indeed. It took me 24 hours to send 200 emails. I am now sending out 9000 emails & it has taken days so far. If I open the email queue in settings>technical>emails I can click 'send' on each email in the queue & it goes immediately. Why is it taking so long when Odoo automates it?

In your case, it is possible that the issue is related to the server configuration or email configuration.
