Yes, it is possible anywhere, it is called customizing. If you are using the Enterprise edition, you can do it easily with Odoo Studio, for the community version please read the developer documentation. Here you'll find a module, which allows you to add custom fields without own development: https://www.odoo.com/apps/modules/10.0/crm_custom_fields/
