Consumables are GOODS that you do not track Inventory for:
ohhh, got it! so it means if "Track Inventory" is unchecked this is considered as consumable.

Exactly.
Remember that Consumables are never sold or used to make other products.
They are the things you would not count when taking a full inventory. Office Supplies, Break Room Supplies, Janitorial Supplies, etc.
Consumables are not part of your Inventory, they are not assets of your company, they are expenses.
