Hello all,

I have following scenario on Odoo V16:

Created a storage category and assigned this one product with quantity 10. Created two putaway rules for two locations (location a and location b) and assigned them the storage category. So on each location can be stored the quantity of 10.

Creating a Purchase order for this product with quantity 5. When doing the receipt it will get directed to location a. Which is fine.

Create a new Purchase order for the same product with again the quantity of 5. Do the receipt. This receipt goes then to location b. The question is why?

I expected that the receipt would go to location a as I defined in the storage category that there can be stored the quantity of 10.

Also when I have the quantity 5 on stock in location a and create a receipt of 10 for the product it will go to location b. But can manually overwrite the location to location a. So it is possible to store the quantity of 15 on location a where normally only the quantity of 10 is allowed.

Has here someone a solution in the standard?
