Hi All,

Price list functionality in Odoo seems to be very basic and based around pricing specific to customers groups rather than product groups. How are others managing pricing that is more specific to supplier and product types rather than specific to customers?

Example:
Product A cost $5
Product B cost $11
Product C cost $75
Product D cost $25

All in Product Category A

We would typically vary the margin on these products depending on the cost price.
$0-$10 cost price = 100% Markup
$10-$20 cost price = 75% Markup
$20-$50 cost price = 50% Markup
$50+ cost price = $30% Markup

From my understanding we would need to either split products up into more categories and base the price lists on those categories or we would need to add each product individually to the price-list with set margin.

We have 22,000 products to manage and have them split between around 50 different product categories.  Some product categories would have the same margin for all products so its not so hard to manage but others could have 5-6 different margin rates per product.

We also regularly add new products into Odoo manually (multiple times per day) and update pricing on multiple products per day as cost price continually fluctuates, updating the purchase price on a PO updates the purchase price on the product form but has no effect to he product form standard sales price.  How are others managing this?
