Hi

We would like to create a 2 step internal transfer or delivery order (without a sales order) with several warehouses.

The objective is if we need products in wh1 sent from wh2 for there to be 2 steps.

So a colleague fills out an order and when marked to do

A pick is generated from wh1 to physical location/interwarehouse transit

and another from physical location/interwarehouse to wh2.

I have done all the steps but it doesn't generate 2 movements as a delivery order (pick & ship)

Trying to find a way around using re-stock by replenishment because when we replenish it also activates the re-ordering rule assigned to that product.

Any ideas would be really helpful

thanks

There are 2 way to accomplish (Pull or Push) and is dependant on who initiates the process.

IF WH1 has the need for products from WH2 and triggers the operation it would be using pull routes. This can be triggered from replenishments, as @Mehdi Amarouche has illustrated. The route you would want to configure is

Rules

-Pull from Transit to WH1/stock

-Pull from WH2/output to Transit

-Pull from WH2/stock to WH2/Output

IF WH1 has the need, but WH2 triggers the operation then you could use the routes with Push rules. This can be triggered by manually creating the 1st operation and marking as To Do as you mention in your post

Rules

-Push from WH2/stock to WH2/stock for WH1 (you could create this a new location to identify)

-Push from WH2/stock for WH1 to Transit location

-Push from Transit to WH1/Stock

Hope this helps explain.

Hi Luis,

What is you Odoo version ?

By default, you need to configure WH1 to resupply from WH2:

Go to Inventory > Configuration > Warehouses and set up the "resupply from" on WH1 to generate rule to ressuply from WH2.

You can then trigger the route manually or automatically using a reordering rule, which will generate WH2/OUT and WH1/IN operations based on the “WH1: Supply product from WH2” route.

The Replenishment view can also be useful for manually triggering routes :)

You can also refer to Odoo Documentation

Best,

mA

Hi

Thanks for the reply.  Odoo 15 is our version.

Still having an issue.  Odoo says "no rule for replenishment..."

here are some screen shots

You have a rule pull from WH (3rd screenshot), you might want to validate if WH is the stock Loction of that warehouse or if it is WH/stock.. it is likely the error is there is that there is no rule replacement rule at WH location. (Not sure as the complete error isn’t provided)

We have 3 physical locations. but all stock locations are child of 1 virtual location. This is so our available stock is easily visible on our online store and by our salespeople. WH is the parent view location of all stock locations. The error is this: No rule has been found to replenish "[ZOC2317] Abaca Lounge Chair" in "MAR/MARBELLA".
Verify the routes configuration on the product.

Understood, I would change the WH (view) to a stock location to test to eliminate.
Also, realize that pull from transit to MAR/MARBELLA is a delivery order, this might need to be a receipt operation as the product is being received.
Same might apply to WH to transit as that is an OUT operation.
