I thought an nginx reverse proxy was necessary in order to use openerp over SSL but I see there is "SSL Configuration" in openerp.cfg. What are those directives used for?
These directives are not used anymore in OpenERP 7.0. If you require SSL encryption you have to use a reversy proxy.
