I have a few custom extensions that I installed in Odoo. After removing
them through the UI, I also deleted the files from the directory.
However, they still appear when I search in the Odoo applications. How
can I completely remove these extensions so that they no longer appear
in the application search?

* Filter uninstalled apps
* from tree view, delete all uninstalled apps
* remove unwanted modules from the addons path
* restart the service and click update apps list
