"No such external ID currently defined in the system: base.res_partner_2" error when trying to install apps

Question

I've just installed OpenERP and, all of a sudden, it started reporting this error when we try to install or update any apps. I've searched on Google but couldn't find anything.
Any ideas?

hi,

You might have deleted the Customer : "Agrolait" (demo data) which is used as a reference in other module you are trying to install or the dependent module. When you install demo data, make sure that you are not deleting it.

As a solution, you can upgrade the base module.
