In POS, How to allow a customer to (pay later and generate an invoice for the order) instead of immediate payment?

you can identify customer by barcode and then when you choose product you can choose invoice in footer in payement screen

Is there a way to generate a ticket instead of the usual invoice? I wanted something that can be printed on a small paper sizes using a thermal printer. SOmething like a ticket or oder that will also see the order created but status to remain as "new" and not as "paid"
