Where is branch which currently odoo (OpenERP S.A) Using ?

I believe that currently they are using saas-3 until saas-6 is released. Just note that there are no upgrade paths for the saas branches installed on your own servers.
If all thing open source then why they make it private branch !!! Does "OpenERP S.A are fake" in term of open source. !!!
How is it a private branch? You can download and use any saas version you wish. Just the community does not provide a free upgrade path for the saas versions.
