Is there a place where I can download a bunch of email templates? We are trying to switch from mailchimp to odoo mass mailing module in combination with a bulk smtp server.

There is a mail templates module available with Enterprise. Otherwise you can try to find some in the Apps store, or creating your own and saving them as a template to use again later.
