When filling in the default document settings in "General Settings", the resulting .pdf quotations made in the CRM app are not according to the selected template. E.g. the logo and footers are missing, as well as the total sum of expenses. 

I am not getting any error messages. What could have gone wrong? This is my first step in understanding how to make custom document templates.

If you are creating a custom template, please provide the code in order to get help. A better way is to inherit an existing template and amend it to your needs.

Has there been any progress made on this question? Ermin Trevisan, how does one 'inherit' an existing template. I am having a hard time just finding existing templates. Thank you.

My question is a bit more general, suppose I create a new document template .xml, how do the various print functions know that it needs to use the .xml I just made?
